Things To See In Orlando

Orlando is the perfect place for the Ms./Mrs. Corporate America competition as an international business hub and amusement park mecca. There are plenty of fun family activities to keep you engaged and entertained!

If you’re participating in the competition and would like to visit the area before the event, below are some ideas of things to do and places to go. Be sure not to tire yourself out before all the competition activities kick off!

 

Amusement & Theme Parks

Want to cool off? Visit the area’s water parks, like Blizzard Beach at Walt Disney World® Resort and Universal’s Volcano Bay™. Orlando is teeming with both old and new attractions even outside of the theme parks. With multiple new projects on the horizon, even seasoned visitors to Orlando will always find new ways to create lasting memories, year after year.

Weather

Orlando’s weather is generally sunny and hot in late June with frequent afternoon thunderstorms to cool you down for the evening. The average high is 90 degrees F, and the average low is 71 degrees F. Don’t forget to pack your umbrella and sunscreen! See the extended Orlando forecast. 

 

Beyond Orlando

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex – Learn about space exploration, get up close and personal with an actual space shuttle and experience interactive exhibits. See directions on how to get here from Orlando. 

Cocoa Beach – A beach day is only a couple of hours away in Orlando! Visit world-famous Cocoa Beach for some fun in the sun, surfing lessons and boating. Located about 60 miles outside of Orlando, the coastal town’s water temperature is a perfect 70 to 73 degrees in June.

Gatorland – See Florida’s famous wildlife in person at Gatorland. Touting itself as the “alligator capital of the world”, the attraction boasts alligator wrestling shows, zipline adventures and more.
